​Morgan Zeitler could never sit still long enough to pursue a life of letters with his degree in fiction writing and aesthetics from UC Santa Cruz. The world beckoned, resulting in a voice distilled from his time as a soldier, legislative analyst, smokejumper, newspaper reporter, park ranger, and investigator. Through it all he remains driven in his search for balance between an artistic and a practical life; the internal and the external worlds of people whose stories both clash and converge.
